Young Harris, Georgia – BRMEMC’s Annual Meeting scheduled for this Thursday, September 23 is now a drive-thru event at the headquarters of BRMEMC in Young Harris, Georgia. BRMEMC’s Board of Directors and management team made the decision out of an abundance of caution to our employees and members with the rise of COVID cases throughout our service territory. The Annual Meeting will be very similar to last year’s drive-thru Annual Meeting. Members attending will drive through campus as directed by our crews and remain in their vehicles at all times to participate in in-person voting (if not already voted online or by mailed ballot), listening to entertainment provided by The High Country Harmonizers, and the business session. We will broadcast the entertainment and business session through a radio transmitter that members can hear through an FM channel in their vehicles. All members attending will receive a registration gift and be entered to win prize drawings. 4-6 p.m. Registration, voting and entertainment 6 p.m. business session begins
