2024 Information
8:30 a.m. - Registration and voting begins
Register, pick up registration gift, ballots for in-person voting, full schedule of events, free lunch tickets, vouchers to the Wayne O. Rollins Planetarium, and vouchers to an athletic event.
10 a.m. - Business meeting opens
- Special guest speaker Gil West, CEO of Hertz and former COO of Delta Airlines
- Hear a brief update from TVA
- General Manager Allan Glidewell will give a Co-op update
- Special music by YHC students
11 a.m. - Registration and voting closes; business session begins
BRMEMC's Board of Directors will conduct the business session. Immediately following the close of the business session there will be door-prize drawings that include gift cards with a chance to win a $1,000 gift card, electronics and more.
12 p.m. -Taco Bar Lunch (Pre-registration suggested. See below.)
Enjoy a taco bar, gourmet cookies, sodas and waters. Mingle with BRMEMC Board of Directors, the general manager, past and present employees, and generations of BRMEMC members from all five counties.

Voting Information for the 2024 Annual Meeting
- Members will be mailed an official notice of the Annual Meeting and mail-in ballots in early-August.
- Members that have an email address on file will also receive an email to vote online. The body of the email will contain online voting credentials.
- Survey & Ballot Systems will handle the voting process. Please do not drop off completed ballots at BRMEMC's office. Mail the ballot back to the return address on the envelope. Any ballot dropped off at BRMEMC will be dropped in the spoiled ballots box.
- Three members of the Board of Directors terms expire at this year's Annual Meeting. Those members are listed below.
- Roy Perren (incumbent), Towns County, Ga.
- Jack Lance, Jr. (incumbent), Union County, Ga.
- Gayland Trull (incumbent), Fannin County, Ga.
- Nominations made by petition closed on Monday, July 15.
