Establishing service

Establishing Electric Service

There are several options when establishing electric service with Blue Ridge Mountain EMC. Each option has a checklist that will ensure you get the necessary paperwork to BRMEMC and your job stays on track.

Giving Back to Our Community

Community engagement is part of our culture. You will see us in your child's school speaking about electrical safety, serving on boards for various organizations, coaching, sitting next to you at church, or supporting community events. Like you, we live and work in this great area that we love calling home. We take pride in working at Blue Ridge Mountain EMC and being a part of a team of employees serving you, our Members.

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the crews that worked so hard to restore power after the storms that moved through the area. I’m located on Hwy. 64 West in Murphy which was one of the hardest hit areas. Your crews are always so prompt about restoring any outages.

My wife and I want to express our gratitude to BRMEMC for 40 years of great service.

"As soon as we got home, we heard a transformer blow. Within 30 minutes BRMEMC was out here and within another 30 they restored our power. Cannot thank these men and women enough for the jobs they do. Especially when it’s late at night and raining in 36 degree weather."
