BRMEMC Completes Johnsonville Road Broadband Expansion

Blue Ridge Mountain EMC (BRMEMC) recently completed a broadband expansion in Cherokee County, North Carolina. Approximately 182 residents are now eligible for fiber optic internet service.

This newly completed broadband expansion is in and around the Johnsonville Road area. Residents of this area can email their name and physical address to broadband@brmemc.com to begin the process of signing up for the service. This expansion area also qualifies for BRMEMC’s new 1 Gigabit package.

“Providing broadband internet service to residents and businesses in our service territory is a priority for BRMEMC. We understand how important it is for our members now more than ever to have quality high-speed internet and completing this expansion allows 182 more residents access to this remarkable service,” said Manager of Broadband Services Alex King.

BRMEMC is working on broadband expansion areas throughout its service territory that includes Towns, Union and Fannin counties of Georgia; and Clay and Cherokee counties of North Carolina.
